Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
There are various stake holders in the education which should be claimed liable for the degradation in the standard of education system. But the fact is that, hundreds of colleges are starting every year without adequate trained faculties and infrastructures. They are being started not to serve but to earn money. It has also been noted that universities and colleges are facing acute shortage of well trained faculty and infrastructural facilities. In order to uplift the educational standard of the country there is a need to revitalize and strengthen the higher education system. Teachers being the nucleus of any system of education are responsible for nurturing and polishing the entire system. Different teacher training colleges plays very important role in building up the nucleus which in turn build the nation. There is a need of an agency that demonstrates the educational institution how the dignity of the stake holders (students, institutional set up and society) can be brought up
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) an autonomous institution of UGC was created 16th sept. 1994 to maintain and coordinate the standard of higher education . In the same context UGC India has (in the XI plan) made a policy decision to direct all higher education institutions to establish Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
